20180910_103922.jpg Hi,

I found one of the radial inductor bad in the circuit and i found similar value smd type in my box. Can i replace it with the one i found. i am attaching the image of both inductors. Thank you.

Best Regards,

hi,
I would say yes, make sure the SMD inductor connects to both sides/faces of the PCB as the hole thru type.
May require a wire link thru.

Inductance alone does not say it all. A open magnetic circuit can handle a lot more dc and not saturate compared to a closed magnetic circuit.

They may have harshly different saturation current. Thus, it ought be measured, the inductance versus DC bias current. If i(sat) are similar and L are too, then both are equal.
