I bought some level shifters that use an N channel MOSFET and this is how they packaged them:

When I asked for a refund, they asked me if I tested them. I refused and they stopped responding, so I filed a dispute and AE issued a refund in a day. I expected them to make me jump through hoops like they've done in the past and then reject my request.
EDIT:
An updated list of the bad sellers:

EDIT:
An updated list of the bad sellers:
- All Electronics Trading Company - improper packaging for MOSFET level shifters.
- LianDong Store - rusty alligator clips (30+ out of 60)
- XingBoXin Store - 3x5 cm prototype boards with too many shorts (50+ of 100 boards)
- <store removed> - mSATA to SATA adapter not as advertised (said metal, it was plastic). AE sided with Seller and ignored dispute of their resolution.
- Daijun ccc Store - switching power supplies, store removed. Appeared to try starting another store (DAIJUN 3ccc Store that quickly disappeared). UPDATE: no product received before buyer protection ran out. The only response from the seller was to try to reduce one of the refunds by $0.57.
- NVVV AliExpress store - sold defective (reworked) power supply as new. https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/...-power-supplies-aliexpress-and-amazon.184746/
- Low priced Wanptek power supplies https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/...s-seller-at-your-own-risk.173035/post-1727893. Additional sellers implicated: "Shop1100262004 Store", "Shop1100365425 Store". Both refused to communicate until disputes were initiated. All they wanted was to try to reduce the refunded amounts. Both stores have been closed.
- MGodBMS store - defective smart lithium ion smart BMS https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001971361691.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.21ef1802zhrtto member @m3vuv1 thread here
- Samsung Store on Amazon - defective 128GB microSD cards. 2 failed capacity test with h2testw, 1 passed, but had data corruption when trying to use the full capacity. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B1JFY24?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
- 3-24V 3A adjustable power supply with display - these won't adjust down to 3V and don't regulate very well. I bought from 2 different sellers Lincoiah Official Store and Shop5952040 Store. Apparently no UL certification. Post #111, 162
- 9V lithium ion batteries with integral 9V voltage regulator. Advertised as 12800mAh capacity; actual capacity closer to 300mAh. Shop1102660308 Store post #164

- 18650 batteries with 88800mAh capacity. Actually capacity less than 1.8Ah. MVP No6 Mamba Battery Store post #175 EDIT: note that there are many stores with "Battery Store", "Mamba Battery Store", or similar in their store names. Suspect many are related because they sell many of the same products.
