My experience was a bit different. Grad school classes were not offered at Lawrence Institute at the time. And now that "Institute Of Technology" has been abandoned, as it became "Lawrence University", with the first graduate degree being an MBA. Such a total abandonment of governing values for the sake of profit!!! And the last time I checked, several years ago, the tuition was more than SEVENTY TIMES what is was when I graduated.
All of our interactions were part of daily life, totally separated from the academic realm. And all of the "Super Teams" that we had in industry were the result of what looked to me like accidental hiring choices. But they certainly worked. I have studied a bit about Team Building, but I was seldom consulted about hiring choices. Possibly others had also read those books??
