Boost converting not working correctly in LTspice.

How about the fact that you have an initial condition where the gate is on creating a dead short from the power supply to ground. Why would you do that? Also the diode is undersized for this application.

I don't know what your problem is, but generally speaking boost converter designs do not scale well. Do you notice the decrease in efficiency?

The inductor current does get close to zero, but it does not go all the way there. This is the definition of CCM (Continuous Conduction Mode).
You should make your gate drive signal start at 0, and ignore the startup transient. In this configuration it will greatly exceed the designed output voltage, but that is a problem for later.
