Hi all. I am designing a boost converter and I have selected components values according to some calculations. Please let me know if desired component value will not achive my goal.
Goal.
From input 28 v I have to get 200v with 250mA (50w converter)
Component list.
Inductor -160uh
Capacitor -1.5uf
Switching frequency - 300khz
Diode - reverse voltage is 400v
MOSFET -vds400v.
(Note. Is it adequate to choose MOSFET with higher vds in boost converter. Since high voltage side will be separated with diode).
Please correct me if anything is wrong.

It is traditional to show the schematic when asking about a particular circuit. If you attach a schematic that would remove the greate part of a chance of a misunderstanding.
