Can anyone tell if my converter works right? It generates right voltage and almost does not heat, but I don’t understand why in close state of MOSFET current through inductor increases (channel 3) and why there are several voltage peaks on drain (channel 1)? How can I suppress this peaks, or maybe it is ok?

Hello,

How much is the input voltage?
What should be the expected output voltage?
Based on the schematic I am calculating an output voltage in the range of 180 to 230 Volts.

Hello,

According to this page the MAX1771 is designed to have a max output voltage of 100 Volts.
https://para.maximintegrated.com/en/results.mvp?fam=stepup&1395=65

If you want to boost-up to 200 Volts better use the MAX17597:

Thank you for answer, but i haven't found any restriction for output voltage in datasheet, i think output voltage limited more by external switch, rather than ic itself, besides, as far as i understand, MAX1771 works fine, some problem happend between inductor, diode and MOSFET
