Hello i am designing a boost converter for a 3.75 v 0.2 A supply to be boosted to 12.6 volts 1 amp supply . I have carried out my calculation for this circuit but when simulating on multi sim i am getting problems any help would be appreciated . i have uploaded a file so you can see my simulation. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Simulation

Also this upload is the calculation i have used

Hello,

You will never get 12.6 Volts @ 1 A from a 3.75 @ 0.2 A source.
The output power will ALWAYS be lower as in input power.
I would expect an input current of about 3.5 to 4 A to get the 1 A at the output.

Hello,

In the simulation, you are measuring the current of the volt meter.
Put a load accross the voltmeter and try again.
For 12 Volts and 1 A , a load of 12 Ohms would do.
