IMO If you need to ask the type of AC/DC questions I see here, then don't actually try to build anything.
The make-or-buy decision is usually strongly on the buy side unless a project warrants the DIY approach. I haven't seen any reason this particular project needs a custom-built solution. Not even close IMO.

i dont agree, i need the clearest solution as all other components like EMI surges etc brings "mess" into the sound....

The Pakedge PE-08I is a robust power distribution unit suitable for managing multiple devices in a networked environment. However, for high-end audiophile systems where power quality and minimal interference are paramount, you might consider specialized audio power conditioners. If your setup includes a variety of devices and you require advanced monitoring and control features, the PE-08I could be a valuable addition.

That's impressive but doesn't solve the core problem, that power switching outside a device may not be as safe as using the device's integral power switch.

Personally, I would not hesitate to use external switching on anything I own (except power tools, where that would be dangerous). It may not be ideal, but I would consider it a flaw if the device could not survive that. If I were switching the power more than once a day, maybe I'd reconsider.

There are home automation switches that I'll bet are a lot cheaper than that power box.

Yes.
I've been doing than with my all my TVs, receivers, and sound systems for several years without a problem, using WiFi AC smart-plug/outlets that plug into a standard AC outlet.

so there is no way how to make this part secure - using external "circuit/module".
thanks

Notice that he said that there MAY not be.

As others have pointed out, repeatedly, for most situations, externally switching power will work just fine. But no one can guarantee that this is the case for any specific instance without knowing all of the details about the specific situation.
