Then your only choice is to un-Plug the USB-Connector,
unless You are adept at microscopic-surgery on the Circuit-Board,
and the Patient may not survive the Operation.

Or, You can carefully splice into the USB Cable,
then identify the 5-Volt Power-Wires,
and install an inline-Switch there.

I have the same board. I read that when charging the battery the load (powered by OUT+ and OUT-) must be disconnected.

I will also be using the USB to power the board, but I was wondering if it was possible to modify it so that when I connect the USB, the load (OUT+OUT-) is automatically disconnected.
