Can anyone tell me how nd stable multivibrator works?Particularly i want to know how and at what the capacitors in astable multi vibrators charges and discharges

Except solid state has replaced vacuum state.

 

So have relays. And water was used in kinetic fountains before any of that was invented. And and and. But the basic bistable concept of switches + flow + storage just keeps moseying along through centuries of tech advances.
