Regarding addressable RGB LEDs, is the point of light in a 2020 size LED smaller than in a 5050 LED? Or is the package smaller whilst the junction and point of light are the same size?
These numbers refer to the dimension of the chip .... 5050 is 5mm square ...3528 is 3.5mm by 2.8mm ... 2020 2mm square ...
The actual light emitting area will be slightly smaller but will relate to the overall dimensions ...smaller size will have smaller light emitting area and consume less power (current) .... smaller size will also generally be more efficient (lumens out per W in)
