I think I misinterpreted the forums purpose.
I thought it was for exchanging AND learning.

Now I think the learning part is not the purpose of this site.

Sorry if I misinterpreted and thank you for getting me this far in my project.
I'm not a AI bot you can use to get answers, learning is on you and you to seem to be going just fine.

I've plenty of other things to do than handhold someone trying to clone of another persons professional work. If this was purely your design that's one thing but IMO I've given you plenty of help of the unique part of replacing the mechanical pot. I've no interest of Arduino programming or hardware as I build my own custom controller boards, systems and software specifically for X job.

Looks like I unintentionally ticked you off.
Sorry, really.
Reason I am cloning the eq is because Bose do not make them anymore and they do not exist anymore.
I have to say the title of this post refers to Arduino.
Again sorry for ticking you off.
Peace.

Thank you all for your valuable pointers and recommendations.
I come from a hobbyist forum where things are more lax and thought this one was of the same purpose. I can see clearly it is not so.

I must say I tried to find some kind of "read me first" post about the use of this forum to no avail.

I'm not ticked off, just not interested in the part you're interested in. I gladly helped you with the part I was interested (digipot, reed relay) in and dropped out with the other the parts, because as I said in the beginning, I don't see much value in the automation function.
