Two of our fiber optic network thingamabobs went out last week. I think they are just SFP modules, but our technical support from Siemens didn't know for sure, so we asked for a quote from Siemens. They want over $760 for a single module! They call them synchronization modules and offer next to no other information about them, which makes me think they are just $10 SFP modules. Is anyone an expert who might know for sure? Thanks.

 

Never mind. These are for a profibus network, and are proprietary. I'd delete the thread but I can't figure out how.... Sorry to waste your time.
