I have a 15+? year old Pico 3205 and a much more recent 2205A that came free with a project I did for someone. Oh and a 40y old 100MHz HP 4ch DSO which is still in perfect calibration!

Looking at 4 channel modern 100MHz DSO, budget ~ £500... Rigol looks the leader ATMo

I was surprised when I first powered up a scope running Windows internally but it makes some sense; mass storage, networking, and flexible GUI for next to nothing. Still having to worry about virus detection on your oscilloscope seemed like extra headache. Can't remember if I ever saw a blue screen on the scope, but I think so. Hopefully we've evolved away from this strange marriage of desktop OS and test equipment, but I'm not spending time in an up-to-date lab anymore, so I'm not sure of recent trends.
