That's cheating. Yours has a dial on it. Mine which I still use doesn't have a dial.
well I don't know if it's cheating or not (whatever does the job)... but it's certainly not digital...
EDIT: come to think of it... it's not a real Vernier scale either...

Many words and expressions in the English language originate from the days of sail, many still in use today.
A few:
Three sheets to the wind.

Sea legs.
Pooped.
Loose canon.
Swinging the lead.

I still have my drawing board, triangles, tee-square, pencils, sharpeners, vellum, and all of that stuff. :oops:

I missed most of this morning because I was using my dial caliper to find the right pieces of copper tubing to replace a leaky heater core valve. This is why you run the car with only water for a few days. That's enough time to catch the last little drips in the cooling system.
