@nsaspook, you guys in the Pacific west have lost your minds.

More and more places are adopting these insane policies that say that virtually everyone must be released while awaiting trial with no bail/bond required. All this guy had to do was promise to show up and not flee -- and the fact that he previously fled and has a history of violating court orders doesn't matter. Notice that they didn't even try to make him promise not to go and illegally get another gun and go shoot more people.
