Seriously? Is a press announcement really needed for this?

Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) has warned people not to spray alcohol disinfectant all over their bodies, after details of a woman who burnt herself after she sprayed herself with alcohol and then lit a mosquito coil were posted online, causing concern among netizens.

I can testify that rubbing or spraying alcohol on your body can be hazardous. I rub alcohol on my arms and sometimes face to take care of occasional itching. I have been taken out of my car twice at roadside screening stops to be checked with a breathalyzer shortly after using alcohol that way.
Then don't plug/unplug USB adapters/chargers while in your car after doing that alcohol thing. Even getting out of your car can generate significant static sparks.

Birds falling from th sky:
Now THAT is a frightening sight!

The fact that this happened just days after the geomagnetic storm that took out dozens of Starlink satellites leads me to believe that the birds (which are known to use magnetic fields for navigational guidance) might have been subject to a particularly powerful burst solar ions. Perhaps their senses were overwhelmed in the process so they began to collide with one another, leading to a chain reaction of sorts?

The more likely conclusion is that it was a simple navigation mistake that happens from time to time.

‘World’s Largest Fork’ may not be in Missouri anymore. Another state vies for record

A giant fork made its way to Fairview, Oregon, on Tuesday, Feb. 15, anticipated to break a new world record. Locals in Fairview — located just east of Portland — are awaiting a Guinness World Records keeper who will visit their town to officially measure the giant fork, according to a news release from local officials.

Now we wait for the first drunk to hit it.

I cannot be 100% functional on my workday unless I take a 20 minute nap after lunch ... does that make me weak?
It makes you normal. The policy of sleep deprivation is a form of "narcosis", add drugs to that mix and most people find themselves in a different frame of mind. Mostly harmless in the short term but IMO I've seen it used to make people do things they otherwise never would. The ability kill without too much of a psychological impact is an extreme example.
