Usually, a half or full wave dipole. So, circumference of slinky x number of turns. With an antenna tuner you can make just about anything resonate w/ low SWR albeit not that well. When roller inductor tuners became popular in the 70-80s an aluminum lawn chair was a common "ham shack trick".
