the scientists lacked full understanding of how the ionosphere works

This is bull, the USSR knew exactly what they were building and how it would operate.

We both had detailed analysts of ionospheric conditions with predictions for at least the next 24 hour of LUF MUF, FOT vs time and location.

Fancy cars stuck on the beach with the tide moving in is weird even for Asia.

I actually saw that happen in Daytona. Couple parks on the beach. Then walks up to the boardwalk. When they returned they could not figure out how their car could have gotten into the water.

A truck driver shows up with his cab. Hooks a chain to the car. They are all standing along the length of the chain as he pulls. I stood there far away waiting for another tradgy to happen.

Old story -- but I just learned of it today from a lawyer friend in Ohio.

And, no, not that lawyer.

I am calling BS. any professional hypnotist will tell you they can't make you do what you don't want to do. There is either more to this story or the guy picked an awful attorney to represent him in court. Though the recordings are a bit damning. at most he should have been convicted of unprofessional behavior.

I'm just the messenger. My friend in Ohio says this case is exactly as described.
