Yeah... and then an empire was born that lasted more than half a millennia...
On a related note:
When Mussolini was in power he erected many symbols of old Rome in Italian occupied Libya.
One such one was two very tall columns that marked the entrance to the old Roman port of Tripoli.
Each had one of the two wolves with one of them suckling the babies. They were quite beautiful.
When Qaddafi came to power, he attempted to remove all the symbols of Italian origin, fortunately he did not include the Roman ruins.
But one such travesty was that he knocked the two wolves off and replaced them with Arabic symbols.
Fortunately I took many photos' of the Mussolini monuments.
Max.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/21/asia/japan-asteroid-sample-scli-intl/index.html
A Japanese space probe has successfully fired a "bullet" into an asteroid as part of a mission to collect rock samples from the celestial body.

The projectile disturbed material from the exterior of asteroid Ryugu which then floated from its surface due to the weak gravitational field.

Looks like the asteroid was only wounded by this robotic space cowboy.

Message just received from space:
Our peaceful asteroid was suddenly and deliberately attacked by space forces of the Empire of Japan.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/teen-calls-911-surrender-underage-drinking-home/story?id=61251594
Police in Van Buren, Arkansas are still scratching their heads over one of the most unusual arrests they said they have made in years.

On Thursday night, police received a call from an 18-year-old reporting underage drinking in his home – by him.
...
“It wasn’t like he was just wasted or anything. He was not bad at all. The officers told him that ‘in your house [underage drinking is] not an issue. But with him refusing to go back in, the officers couldn’t leave him wandering around outside, so they arrested him and took him in.”

The young man was charged with public intoxication, but the mystery behind his self-confession remains.

http://www.fox35orlando.com/fast-fi...e-driving-car-with-a-sign-warning-against-dui
BERKELEY, Calif. (BCN) - In an ironic twist, the California Highway Patrol arrested a motorist on suspicion of DUI Sunday morning after he was stopped driving a car with a sign warning against drinking and driving.

A dark-colored sedan was stopped by officers after it was spotted around 4 a.m. weaving across three lanes on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 near the Gilman Street exit in Berkeley, according to CHP Officer Herman Baza. The car featured a sponsored sign by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that read: "I should probably get a ride home" (with the word "probably" crossed out) and "Buzzed driving is drunk driving."
