It’s horrible what could have happened but humans are explorers and kids will 'disappear' in an instant.

Fake news, the story starts out...

A motorist spotted a baby boy crawling across a busy street in New Jersey
It looks like they finally wrapped filming the story when they were able to get a video with two moving cars on the road to confirm it was "busy". The rest of the story shows empty streets or a single vehicle slowly putter through the sleepy neighborhood.

Today, we rely on our alarm clocks or cell phone alarms to wake us up in the morning, but before these items were invented, people still needed to be to work on time. Most large, industrial cities had people working as knocker-uppers. Knocker-uppers carried long sticks with them and went from house to house, rapping on bedroom windows to make sure that their clients got out of bed in time. Knocker-uppers earned a few pence each week from their clients and an extra bonus if they stayed at the window, annoyingly knocking, until they were certain the person was awake and ready to start their day.

I may have posted this before, But..
That could have got me into possible trouble when I first came to N.A.
One of my New neighbors mentioned she had to be at work at a new job but was worried because her alarm clock had gone belly up.
I told her when I went to work I would Knock her up in the morning if she wished.
She looked at me really funny. o_O
Max.
