I heard it for the first time on the radio today, I thought they were playing the record backwards at first!:D
Reminds me of Elvis singing in 'German'
'muss I denn zum städtele hinaus'

That's a funny version ... and I love that song ... never heard it before. His american accent is so thick that I have to pay real close attention to understand the lyrics... but it's spanish alright :)
Wondering what could have been if I was given to listen it, not knowing it was in Spanish.

Much to my regret (for how much I like her), Sarah Brightman was not so easy to understand when singing a few songs in Spanish. Madonna did somewhat better in few sentences, but everybody understands "bonita" and "San Pedro". :p

Any mother defending her young....

I was walking between buildings on campus a number of years ago and saw this fox standing in the middle of a patch of lawn and a huge crow about five feet away from it. Both were just standing there looking at each other. I thought that was pretty weird, but as I watch I saw the fox move slightly to the side and the crow hop over to stay right in front of it. It didn't take long to realize that the crow was defending something -- I assumed a nest that I couldn't see in the brush a little bit behind them. I watched for several minutes, fascinated, until it seemed that the fox decided that he just wasn't that hungry and moseyed on his way.

@WBahn

You well could change your nickname to La Fontaine; heard that this time, the fox mumbled "too small those chicks yet" instead of "still green those grapes". Historical reenactment that you lived there...

I have seen it a few times with different birds that feed on carrion.
I suspect it is watching the Fox as they know that he is likely to leave some 'delicacy' in the form of remains of the kill.
Just as Jackals and Condors do with lions..
Just last week I spotted a crow going crazy swooping like heck as something, then I saw the Bald Eagle perched at the top of a tree watching for prey, the crow sure didn't like it.

I don't think so. The crow was very clearly moving to stay directly between the fox and a specific area of the bushes and made no effort to follow the fox as it left. Instead, it hopped over closer to the bushes and just stood there looking around.

Maybe they were both wary of the human watching them? ;)
