@cmartinez , that reminds me of something from way way back. I was building some machines to make plastic strapping, and was working at the company that was buying the machines in one of their empty warehouses with one of their guys.

The owner of the company had a "protege", a recent business college grad. And the owner decided the grad needed to get his hands a little dirty working in a shop. So we were getting ready to ship the first machine and loading a semi. So the grad was to help us. We for some reason started making loud cat sounds, like a tom cat in heat. The grad was in the truck stacking stuff when the two of us saw the "big guy" come in the loading dock. We stopped but the grad kept it up. When the big guy got to the trailer opening and saw his protege was making the sounds, he said loudly, "Gary, wash your hands and meet me in my office". The grad was never in the shop again.

Imagine being kidnapped and forced to work, then released several days later...only, much wealthier than you were before the whole ordeal started. Well it happened!

Fats Waller was leaving the Sherman Hotel one evening in 1926 when he was abducted at gunpoint. Four henchmen forced him into the back of a limousine, which was destined for a location in East Cicero. The place? Al Capone’s exclusive Hawthorne Inn.

Waller entered the building and was met with an all-out celebration. He was led to a piano and ordered to play. After finishing a song, he looked into the crowd and noticed there was one attendee applauding the loudest: Capone himself. As it turned out, Capone’s henchmen had decided to surprise the mob boss for his birthday, and Waller was the present.

According to Waller’s son, the famed jazz musician spent three days and nights performing for Capone, taking breaks only to sleep on his piano bench. He was reportedly paid $100 per song, and was provided with limitless food and expensive champagne. When it was time to leave, Waller was pushed back into the limousine and driven back to the Sherman Hotel, several thousand dollars richer.
Sometimes, truth really is stranger than fiction!

In high school, Archie had minocycline, a tetracycline antibiotic, to treat his acne. He appeared to have no adverse effects for years, assuming nothing of it. But as soon as Archie's wisdom teeth started to erupt, he realized there was a problem.
"My wisdom tooth came in, and it was black, and I was like 'oh my god my teeth are rotting," he said in the TikTok video. "And it turns out that my jaw's black, and probably the rest of my skull and most of my bones [are too] according to my doctor."

FBI, Air Force Agents Mysteriously Raid House of Guy Who Runs Area 51 Blog
If a couple of pictures on Arnu’s website really was the catalyst for this raucous episode, we have to ask...uh, what were the pictures of? Gizmodo reached out to both Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas and the Justice Department. We asked for details about the raids and, just for the hell of it, we also asked about the pictures on Arnu’s website.
