I met Adam West at the Grand Opening of a local grocery store in the 1970s. The event included a "tour" of the Oscar Meyer wiener mobile and a handshake with Adam West in a fake-looking batman suit as he stood next to a fake-looking mock-up of a Batmobile. it was weird.
