You were in a ship not sitting atop a buoy. ;) Where a wake from a passing boat could send you a rockin. ;)
If you look at the design of the 'home' they were at it's a lot more than just a buoy on the water.

https://ocean.builders/waves/
The amount of people reminding seasteaders that there are waves in the ocean is as numerous as there is water in the ocean. These good samaritans feel dutifully compelled to let us know that there are, indeed, waves in the ocean. Assuming, incorrectly, that this is not the prime problem to be solved in seasteading. If there were no waves there would be floating communities of house boats on the water right now. The first person to have a hard time buying land near the ocean would have strapped a few pieces of wood together and built his house there.
;););)

I was in The Gator Navy.

The ship of ours was a top heavy amphib with a bottom as flat (I've been under her in dry-dock) as a stern wheeler so we could move in right up to the coast and into shallow rivers. That 'seasteader' was a lot more stable.

Lol, it’s pronounced poo ket. Not what you were thinking, naughty girl.
Wayneh I say that's even worse than what I was thinking:eek:!

You may have read about it being hit by the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami.
DickCappels all I can say is I hope their natural disaster days are over! For their sake and also everybody downwind cuz them being hit by hurricane would be when the poo ket hits the fan:eek:!

I'm very glad to hear that. They look like a couple of star eyed love birds trying to live some Utopian Bitcoin dream. I can understand why they selected that location as the water is so clear and blue.
Nsaspook it's each to their own but I say clear blue water doesn't compensate for home being like microscopic offshore oil production platform:confused:o_O

Spoken like a true non-sailor.
Nsaspook I'm basically fresh water sailor which can be way more weird and wonderful than most ppl think:)!

Now being clear I don't mean rivers and small lakes! If lake area is less than 20,000 Sq miles OR max span is < 100 miles (not counting small islands) that's just day-trip boating! Not sailing;)!

Also boat is nice place to _visit_ but I wouldn't want 2 live thereo_O!

My envy comment was in another context. The video is all I had.

Maybe I'm old fashion. It's a long time the hobby horse should have been taken away from the young ladies.

At that age, it is most improper. We played with hobby horses too.......just not into puberty.

Just my opinion, not many share it.

I do think it weird that the older ones are still riding but it's far better than drugs or drinking at that age.
