I don't know that guy, but I did have a bank pull that, "You can't walk up to a drive in window" on me. I hired a taxi to drive me 50 feet, cashed a check for $10, and got out of the taxi.:p

Apparently drunks can't figure that out.:D
How much did you pay for the cab?

I was expecting to pay less than $2 (1975) but the cab driver was just as offended about the bank, so he let me go for free.:)

That was when I was in college, right across the street from the bank. Ten dollars was worth 3 days of food back then.
I needed food money, but the inside of the bank didn't open until after my first class started, so I used the drive-thru teller.

Odd story: When I finished with that school and closed the account, I saw that some idiot had written on the bank card that I was a, "suspicious" person, so they treated me like a criminal for two years.

$90/month, direct deposit, and I habitually cash $10 checks across the street from the local college. Real suspicious, big risk, high security...right?
Probably some minimum wage drone felt offended about all those smart people bettering themselves only 200 feet away from the bank.:D

"Terry Lynn Kimbell, 50, of Pinellas County, was in a classic conundrum Tuesday evening: He was drunk and wanted Taco Bell."

He should have had a bicycle. I don't like going inside to FF restaurants or the drugs store when I am on a ride as my bicycle is ~$1000 to replace, so I go through the drive through. It has been questioned once or twice to management but to date I have never had to go inside. Of course I am not usually drunk when I am on my bicycle. :p

No need to ask... I can do that all by myself... in the name of science, of course! :D
Taco John's was the place to go when I was in school and drinking - central Minnesota. They had spiced tater tots marketed as "Potato Olés". But, since they were in the middle of America's Scandinavian population, customers and new employees often called them Potato Ole's, as in Sven's friend Ole.
