I want to know why they are trying to flip burgers? They need to rethink the way automated burger cooking is done. Why not put the burgers on a conveyor belt with flames on both sides?

An additional belt could be added for bun and garnishes.

That happens when you try to make a robot replacement do a humans job the way a human does it instead of rethinking the job as a totally mechanical process without human limitations. This sometimes means you only need a PLC instead of a articulating robot.
