Hi,

I am using 12v DC,5 Amps for my single board computers. At the time its over heating and sometimes devices goes to shutdown itself.

My questions is If i will use 12V DC,3 Amps means what will be the difference in terms of operation?

If Amps will be low what will happen and If it will be high what will happen?

hi,
The board and its components will only draw the current they require to operate correctly.
We need to know details of the board circuit, a circuit diagram would help.

Sorry to say this.Seller wont share their schematic .

My question is input current > usage current means It will expose more heat or not.

1) What is the specified current required by one board computer?
2) How many computers are you trying to drive with that one power supply?

You do not "input" a current.

You provide a voltage with a power supply, in your case 12 volts.
The circuit takes the amount of current it needs.

Problems occur if the circuit needs more current than the supply can provide.

No problems if the supply can provide more than needed.

(No need to point out things like led drivers etc. I'm keeping it simple not overlooking it)
