I am wondering if someone can help please.

I'm trying to measure a signal which is of the order of microAmps. The signal appears only once for a short duration due to a passing projectile.
The speed of the projectile is 10 - 20 metres per second. I'm using an oscilloscope but need a sensitive amplifier that has a large gain but with high SNR. The gain should be ~1000.

 

How are you getting the current, what sensor are you using? Can you be more specific about what you're doing, voltage, frequency?

 

Also, what aspects of the signal do you want to measure?
