I tried replying to a PM from mcgurkles
but it is echoing as invalid...
Tried PM and the system says he is unable/or not allowed to receive PMs...
So how do I respond to a PM from this individual?

I am posting this in an attempt to understand why I can get PMs from members who aren't allowed to send and receive them.

This seems like a very interesting project. The only problem is the loose terminology about what is to be amplified and how.

Yea, I know it is a cooler boom box... But 100Watts??? So is my understanding that this is meant to deafen anyone withing 300 yards correct?

why use a baseball bat to swat at flies (when a simple fly swatter is more efficient - and causes a lot less damage)???

I can't find a legitimate source for this, but I believe members with under 10 posts are excluded from the PM system.
mcgurkles sending you a PM might be a glitch in the system.

Bill Marsden has made more research on the matter and might be able to shed some light.

He sent me a PM and when I replied I got an echo....(error..)
..
Then I sent an eMail to his eMail address and it echoed....
...
I was giving him some sources to get his project components fabricated..
..
But I guess that is a mute point now..
