Why? It’s the first thing I thought of when they said big white aircraft.I hadn't considered that possibility... but it's highly improbable too...
Shouldn't it have given it's transponder? did they just unplug it and fly into pathways of airliners? very doubtful. Why? It’s the first thing I thought of when they said big white aircraft.
More likely... but highly improbable too... doubtful it could achieve the speeds observedEdit: Russian aircraft would be more likely.
(AAV) Detection. (The UFO designation is not in the manual for a Foo Fighter)

No idea if this is a real report but the terminology for radar, link systems and procedures look valid.

The report 'is' from the Threat study investigation. If anyone truly believed this was a 'real' alien craft the study would still be under the 'black budget'. As you can see inside the report most people make jokes about these types of incidents (they happen a lot but don't make the news) instead of serious investigation. I think there was a serious program to see if we could reproduce what most believe are electromagnetic energy transmission altering atmospheric conditions (a naturally occurring Metamaterial of water vapor/crystals and thermal layers) to make 'Foo Fighter' type radar and sensor effects but I don't know if anything became of it. I believe it's another case of nature doing what's possible in physics long before we discover it's possible.
Thing is, for ordinary people at least, Occam's razor would point at aliens, and not some more "complicated and hard to explain" natural phenomena... But yes, for the more scientific type, natural phenomena is the first thing to look for, even if it's explanation is a little convoluted for pedestrian tastes... ball lightning comes to mind, it wasn't until recently that a more or less reasonable explanation has been developed for this sort of thing. The report 'is' from the Threat study investigation. As I've said before, during the Cold War both sides aircraft saw them, sometimes filed reports about them and joked about them. After this sighting, the Navy turned the video over to the the Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena, known as CEFAA. This is the Chilean government group that investigates UFO sightings, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. On Friday, after a study by scientists, military officials, and even some photo analysis experts from France, the committee released its conclusion.
"The Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena, comprised of leading scientists, analysts, and aviation technicians, after an extensive study of the case, determined that it was a UAP, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon," the agency stated in a news release.
I've found this Wood Cut very interesting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1561_celestial_phenomenon_over_NurembergThere are other 'good' videos of AAV craft from reliable sources.

I would like to note now that I found that people viewed round objects "exiting" tubes which sounds exactly the same as my cousin claimed he seen.wiki said:" A military interpretation would view the tubes as cannons and the spheres as cannonballs, emphasize the black spearhead at the bottom of the scene, and Glaser’s own testimony that the globes fought vehemently until exhausted.

He then claims to have seen another one, when he was a child, only this one was the Cigar shaped type, he said it hovered this time over the south side of Utah Lake while these on Monday were on the North Side and it opened up on one side and 3 shining objects came out one by one. He claimed he could see windows along the side one went above another down below and the last went out to the front, then they hovered he said for sometime, then the bottom one went in then the top one, the opening closed and it then streaked up and away, but the last object went streaked North at the same altitude and Vanished.
Sure, anything, when using that logic is possible.A very interesting article, relevant to this discussion:

The problem with this is that there is no sign of any possibility of progress towards deciding if the string theory landscape implies low-energy SUSY or not (quite the opposite). If you give up the assumptions of SUSY and 10/11 dimensions, you give up what little hope you had of any connection with experiment. She doesn’t mention the LHC at all, especially not the negative results about supersymmetry and extra dimensions that it has produced. The significance of these negative results is not that they disconfirm a strong prediction of string theory, but that they pull the plug on the last remaining hope for connecting standard string theory unification scenarios to anything observable. Pre-LHC string theorists could make an argument that there was good reason to believe in electroweak-scale SUSY, that such a scenario fit in well with string theory unification, and that LHC discovery of SUSY would point a way forward for string theory unification. That argument is now dead. All that’s left is basically the argument that “maybe a miracle will happen and we’ll be vindicated” which in her version is:
In principle one could test string theory locally. In practice, this would require discovering a smoking gun signature (such as a low string scale at colliders, or perhaps a very distinctive pattern of primordial perturbations in cosmology), and nothing particularly favors such scenarios currently.
