Advice, create multiple clocks

Hi Paul, you could use an 8-bit serial in/parallel out shift register (74HC164) using the first 3 or 4 output bits and connecting the clear to bit 4 to restart the sequence.

I guess if your going for a small project, then the whole thing would be simpler with a micro-controller such as an ATTINY.. that way you have an internal clock to do the pulsing as well.

No, it's my own computer platform. Though something different.
Allows for 65,536 processors, 65,536 memory chips & 65,536 peripherals.
Though could be 4,294,967,296(something like £515,396,075,520 to build. About 500 billion, about the cost of entire Internet).
Semi open source design, so could become interesting... someone might want to add in radar, teleporter, time travel.
As I'm Britain could call it Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes had a sidekick Watson.

I'm pretty confident, check your surname in to Google search... Family names are important...
Strange but, Bing results in business, Google results in university.
My mother side is Clark, meaning scribe.
