My neighbor has a DeWalt tool set he loves and wants to buy a set for a wedding present--in Greece. He has not been able to find a 240 volt unit. I told him to wait till he gets to Greece but he would rather buy one he is sure is DeWalt. Now 240 volt chargers aren't hard to find but the tool set obviously has a proprietary set of plugs. Any advice?

Most drill chargers are Switchmode types, the difference will be the mains plug, mine is rated at 120-230Vac,. and will work in other countries.

If its a Transformer psu you need to change it.

He needs to check the input supply limit to see if its ok for European countries.

It is obviously a switching mode supply but it is clearly marked 120 Volts only.
