    hi

i want to make the balun to provide the differential signal from an LNA to the Detector. What type of balun will be suitable as circuit is working at 60GHz frequency?

    Thanks

This one may fit your need, but the price is very high.

    Dear Cariban

I am thankful for your kind reply. Actually i want to make it on chip. So i was wondering what will be suitable approach, Passive type or active type. If you know about some link discussing its pros and cons please share.

    Many Thanks

To be honest with you, I am not an expert about balun design, especially at so high frequency. But there are tons of papers about this topic, for example:

You may have to dig yourself. Be careful if there is a patent related for the design.
