This is my present "domestic" electricity bill. And the PF is hard coded as 1 always. If I want to use it for commercial purpose then I have to intimate them. And I think only then they start monitoring my PF.

There is also a section for PF penalty, which is 0 now as it is registered as a domestic meter.

This will be the best solution. I wish I could do this now. I probably will do it later when I have some funds to hire an engineering guy to rig up a few efficient buck/SEPIC converters.You could run your computers directly off the battery if you choose the right voltage. After all, the first component in the computer power supply is a rectifier, and the power supply circuit runs off DC.
