Hi all,

thanks to ReloadRon and many others, I have been using the below successfully for several months - TY all for your help.

To recap: it is a MicroController controlled circuit allowing a 12VDC motor to run two directionally.

What I would like to add: an Up and a Down button so the motor can be controlled directly at the site where the motor is located.

Looking at the below circuit, could I simply 'jump' the 1k resistors with a push button switch (added with wide blue lines)?

Sorry to be bumping, but I blew 2 transistors already so I just need to know if it makes sense the way I applied the switch leads
