I am impressed! That waveform looks much cleaner than I expected it to look!

By the way, if you need more amplitude you might want to increase your shunt resistor. Right now you are loosing about 65% of the shunt voltage in the 40.1 ohm secondary winding of the current transformer.

Congratulations -you now have a current waveform you can work with!

Everything is hardly dependant do You mean 50 Hz by AC or say 500 MHz. At first case all here is told is brilliant and accurate. Next case if in RF region when it all will not work. Just to make an accurate measurement of anything there is more an art like a science. Any resistor have more character as coil with capacitor, any capacitor is more the resistor with coil and any coil is more capacitor with a resistor. Just parasythics begin to prevalete over the concentrated quality we recognize components for.
