Back in the Day and even some DVD Players use them.

Composite Cables Red White and Yellow.

Then they came out with Component Cables Red Right CH. White Left CH. Green Red Blue.

They Say that because Component Cables had all the Video Parts alone this could have HD Video.

But wihat was the Data Rate for Composite Cables and Component Cables?

Those system were analog so signals were specified by bandwidth needed for X resolution.

All of my HD analog Component systems have at least 50Mhz bandwidth per cable from source to display for HD video.
Analog HD.

Front projection image in normal darkened room

Pull down projection screen

Analog signal feed to HDTV DLP projector.
