I have a few questions for a college assignment, I'm not sure how to answer them so hoping someone from here could help me!

The Questions are;
Q1. Investigate the effect of applying feedback to both a single and multistage circuit of our choice.
Q2. Design two circuits demonstrating positive and negative feedback. Investigate the effects of applying feedback to the output signals.

I understand what positive and negative feedback are (Thanks to all your pages!) but I have no idea how to put them to use!

Could someone suggest a simple circuit I could use which would help me answer these questions?

As for the second question try use op amp circuit.

And here you have the simply BJT circuit or look for op amp circuit

 

The emitter resistor on a typical common emitter transistor amplifier is a good example of negative feedback.

Here is an example of an OPAMP with negative feedback to make an amplifier and positive feedback to make a comparitor.

It shows how multiple signal feedback can produce better control of the separate quantities of a system.

For the second question, check out a simple inverting amplifier (negative feedback) and an hysteretic comparator (positive feedback).
