Hello,

I have a rectangular frame that needs to have weight measurement. It is supported by 4 load cells (2 lines Ub+ and S+) that each give 4-20mA signal .

I do not have enough time to buy summing unit. What is the best way to connect their outputs to have one 4-20mA or 0-10V signal that represent total weight on frame.

Pick a single cell that best represents the load, until you can get a summer. Many supply houses can ship overnight.

 

You could just use 4 analog inputs on your controller. That way you will not loose resolution.
