I have salvaged a ProForm Treadmill I acquired through Freecycle. The console had 2ea 3 digit and 4 digit 7 segment led displays. I want to re-use these modules with an Arduino to make a tachometer or maybe a clock. I have Googled the part # from each module, but cannot find a data sheet for them. Part #'s are CU-LED063SD-C for the 3 digit, and CU-LED064SD-C.
Years ago I had a set of books that I could look up any ic, transistor, diode, etc. and get its info. Obviously, today we use the internet. Anyone have something like this today? Anyone have info on the make, data sheets, how to figure out the pinouts? The previous owners gave me a packet of paper work that included the owners manual, and freight recipt showing delivery in Feb, 2011. I found a schematic inside the chassis when I stripped it, but no help.

Thank you, absf. That video did the trick... All the led displays I salvaged from the treadmill worked. Even connected them to an Arduino and got them to light.
