If the circuit is controlled by a momentary action pusbutton with no latching option, such as a "JOG" function, it seems that the E-Stop is rather redundant. And that will certainly be the case for a motor manually operated to adjust the height of a conveyor. For the circuit to drive that conveyor, yes, an estop is appropriate, or even a cable-estop over the conveyor. But that is because the control would latch ON in either direction.Also of importance is an acceptable method of implementing a typical functioning E-Stop circuit, In N.A. each Red E-Stop PB has to be mounted with a yellow background.
