Also of importance is an acceptable method of implementing a typical functioning E-Stop circuit, In N.A. each Red E-Stop PB has to be mounted with a yellow background.

If the circuit is controlled by a momentary action pusbutton with no latching option, such as a "JOG" function, it seems that the E-Stop is rather redundant. And that will certainly be the case for a motor manually operated to adjust the height of a conveyor. For the circuit to drive that conveyor, yes, an estop is appropriate, or even a cable-estop over the conveyor. But that is because the control would latch ON in either direction.

As far as the code goes, it Doesn't matter, what can happen often does happen!
Faulty button, contactor stuck etc. :oops:
If it would be operated by anyone but myself, I would be obliged to follow the rules. (CCOHS/OSHA/CEC/NEC).
