i need to design 24 Volt charger using thyristor but my knowledge in that field is very limited so i need something simple
i used multisim simulation as you can see but can this circuit work ?
i will change the current source with a firing circuit

 

What is I1 doing?
You need I1 to be a pulse to turn on the SCR, phase shifted to the appropriate time in the 50Hz waveform to regulate the average current.

P.S. Please draw you schematics without the loops and offsets in the wiring with the parts.
It makes then hard to read otherwise.
