Hi
How can I use batteries to use a Sewing Machine. Images is of my sewing machine:
Can I connect a 12 car battery directly to the board or can use a 12v to 220v module to increase voltage then connect it to the main plug.
This machine has switching power supply so can it run with 220v DC or need AC?

While it is possible the machine could be converted to 12VDC it would be far from simple. The obvious solution is an inverter designed to run from 12VDC and provide 220VAC.

Not enough info to give a realistic answer. Need to know what sort of motor & what its power requirements are. Typical sewing machine is ~100W so an off-the-shelf 12v - 220v inverter is the obvious solution.

Thanks; but on YouTube I see some videos that convert an old computer PSU to create 12 to 220 module but the output is DC (220V DC) so can this machine works with DC or not?
