An accident pulled the wires out from both sides of a high low switch ( l 0 ll ) on my 12v LED lamp.

Switch below has the ( l ) on the left (power side) and ( ll ) on the right (light side), but I can obviously change round if required.

Please excuse my ignorance but I'd be very grateful if someone could point out where the wires go on the Left / Middle / Right pins.

Based on pure (informed) guesswork there are two sets of LEDs in the lamp. One set gets power from the red wire, the other from the white—the black is a common ground.

You said 12V but it appears to be a 5V USB powered arrangement.

Is the switch center off?

 

Yes, centre of switch is 0 = off.
