Can I possibly connect directly the 12v to the other 12v from my 12v-0-12v transformer? So that I can have 24v? Is that safe?

You can ignore the 0v C.T. and go from each end to give you 24v.
Max.
Ahhh, okay. So I connect one 12v to the circuit and the other 12v to the circuit also? And ignoring the 0v. That gives me 24v right?

I thought connecting the 2 12v to the circuit and 0v to the circuit also, will give me 24v. Thanks! Much appreciated!

Ah okkkay thanks! Much appreciated!
What you referred to as a 12-0-12 transformer is also referred to as a 24VCT transformer.

From Wikipedia
Volts center tapped (VCT) describes the voltage output of a center tapped transformer. For example: A 24 VCT transformer will measure 24 VAC across the outer two taps (winding as a whole), and 12 VAC from each outer tap to the center-tap (half winding). These two 12 VAC supplies are 180 degrees out of phase with each other, thus making it easy to derive positive and negative 12 volt DC power supplies from them.
