That must be some trolling motor! To move his ice fishing shanty on a frozen lake.

The light is for my ice fish house to run off my 30ah 12v DC lithium battery that powers my fish finder.

 

I would assume - there I go again making assumptions - that he's using the battery from his trolling motor, not for electromotive forces but using it out of convenience. I'm using an older car radio and an older car battery for music in the garage. Certainly not driving the garage anywhere using an automotive battery or car radio.

 

Without hands on the project, none of us can tell. Not unless the TS provides more detail.

 

Post #5 is the first mention of trolling motor. That was my doing. The last time we heard from the TS was January 11th. The thread went cold until post #13 on July 15th. As Ron said, either the project is complete or has been abandoned. Just guessing here but I don't think we're going to hear from the TS on this subject anymore.
