ZVS Driver transistors heating up

I bought a 1000W zvs driver from Ebay to use my flyback transformer with, in combination with an ATX power supply.
I tested the zvs with the transformer and it worked well, only the PSU couldnt handle the amps to sustain the arcs.

When testing it with a coil, for induction heating as shown in the picture, I did not get any induction heating, the transistors heated up immensely and sometimes the PSU switched of due to overload.

I am looking for the reason why the transistors are heating up so much, I think it has something to do with the PSU not bding able to keep up with the board and somehow keeping the transistors from working properly, this is just my gut speaking though.

Any help is immensely appreciated!
