Anybody knows if there are any diy device programmers for the Zilog Z8 Encore XP microcontrollers?

Buzzai, try the attached circuit and download and use the Smart Flash Programmer 2.2 software from Zilog website. You will need to connect using Serial Communication.

I have tried that before and it works. I previously got that info at the zilog forum at http://zilog.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=67.
The Z8Encore! product spec PS0228 in the On-Chip Debugger chapter describes what you need to do.
